Postgraduate Education & Academic Affairs (PGE & AA) at King Abdulaziz Hospital - Al Ahsa  is pleased to announce 2012 schedule of Basic Medication Safety Workshop which will be conducted at the Hospital Auditorium & Lecture Rooms, Basement, KAH, Al Ahsa

Objectives:

To enhance the knowledge of the health care providers about medication safety. To improve awareness of safe practices related to pharmaceutical therapies andto promote a “Just Culture” for reporting and managing medication errors.

Course Director: Dr.Mamdouh Al-Swilem - Consultant Pediatric Intensive Care

Note:

    • The course starts by 0750 hours & registration close by 0800 hours.
    • Attendance is closely monitored and any violation will disqualify the participant from attending the exam and receiving a certificate.

Target Audience:

  • Physicians
  • Nurses
  • Pharmacists
  • Allied health professionals

Registration Fees:

  • Free for NGHA staff
  • Non-NGHA staff:
    1. Physicians: SR 200
    2. Nurses & Others: SR 100

CME Hours: accredited with 4 CME Hours from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
