Cooperation Agreement with AHA
National Guard Health Affairs represented by King Saud bin Abdulaziz Medical University recently signed an agreement with the American Heart Association that will enable the exchange of expertise in the scientific and the training field of the pulmonary cardiac resuscitation.

This agreement followed the acknowledgment of the CPR center for adults and children at the National Guard Health Affairs after matching the regulations and standards of the American Heart Association where they examined the occupational and academic levels of the highly qualified Saudi physicians and technicians.

On behalf of the National Guard Health Affairs his Excellency the CEO of National Guard Health Affairs and Dean of King Saud Bin AbdulAziz University Dr. Bandar Al Knawy signed the agreement with the American Heart Association which was represented by the international training consultant Dr. Michael Murrow.

Following the signing of the agreement in Riyadh, Dr. Al Knawy explained that this recognition will boost the Center's role and importance in the training of workers in the field of health in essential courses that all those who work in this field must master. Moreover, it will play a vital role in providing awareness to the community regarding cardiac rehabilitation and emergency situations and how to deal in a correct scientific manner. It was also stated that last year the Center concluded more than 70 courses specialized in basic and advanced heart resuscitation as well as advanced heart resuscitation for children.
