The two parties held a meeting and discussed methods of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of science, research, training and workforce development.
In addition, the audience watched a documentary about the NGHA which included an explanation about the medical cities and the specialized centers in all the regions in the Kingdom. An explanation of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and its colleges was also given, detailing KSAU-HS developed departments and centers in terms of methods and utilizing modern teaching technique.
Also attending the meeting were Dr. Mohammad Ali Al Jumah the Executive Director for King Abduallah International Medical Research Center and Dr. Majid Mohammed Al Tuwaijri, the Executive Director for the Department of Information Systems and the Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics. In addition to the Swedish Ambassador H.E. Jan Thesleff, attending on behalf of the Swedish party was Mr. Marcus Wenestam, Head of the Swedish Trade Council and a number of other escorts. |
