Excellence Award for the Communications Department 

The Communications Department in King Abdulaziz Hospital at the National Guard Health Affairs – Al-Ahsa received an award for excellence that is given to distinctive departments for their punctuality and daily attendance. 

The award was presented by the NGHA Regional Executive Director in the Eastern Province Dr. Ahmed Alarfj on behalf of Dr. Bandar Al Knawy the CEO of National Guard Health Affairs and the President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Dr. Ahmed Alarfj pointed out that this award has been created to encourage and support the work in the health field.

Dr. Ahmed Alarfj said that the Department of Communications at the hospital is remarkably active and disciplined which made it one of the departments that were highly recommended to receive this award for discipline.

The Department of Communications staff expressed their happiness and gratitude, pointing out that this award is motivation to exert more effort in achieving  integrated functionality.

The internal audit supervisor in King Abdulaziz Hospital noted that the Department of Communications deserves the award after supervising their work flow and discipline, mentioning that this was achieved because of the qualified staff and good administrative procedures.

He pointed out that the communications staff plays an important role in the hospital and that they were continually present even during off-peak periods and passed office hours, demonstrating the same effort and effectiveness.

Dr. Ahmed Alarfj honored the department staff with certificates and plaques. He also thanked them on behalf of Dr. Bandar Al Knawy the CEO of NGHA and the President of KSAU-HS, adding that the application of quality in all health facilities is one of the NGHA goals.
