On Sunday 25th July, 2010, the Iraqi conjoined twins Rugayyah and Zainab has been transferred from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to the Pediatric Ward in King Abdul Aziz Medical City - Riyadh nine days after the separation surgery.

His Excellency, Dr. Abduallah Al-Rabeeah the head of the medical and surgical team said that the twins are recovering very well and there are no signs of complications or infections. Zainab started breast-feeding with no signs of complications or infections, she has also started reacting to her parents and the medical staff normally.

Dr. Abduallah Al-Rabeeah also mentioned that the twins will undergo rehabilitation and occupational and physical therapy for several weeks until their treatment period is complete and they are ready to leave the hospital.
