On the occasion of the World Blood Donor Day, which is celebrated world wide every year, King Abdulaziz Medical City in collaboration the Saudi Society of Transfusion Medicine announced that it will hold the Blood Donor Open Week under the theme that "Every Blood Donor is a Hero".

The event will commence on June 9th to 13th 2012 and is aimed to create awareness about the importance of blood donation among the employees and visitors.
