The Pediatrics Department, King Abdullah Specialized Children Hospital, Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs in collaboration with  the Deanship of Postgraduate Education, KSAU-HS are pleased to announce the upcoming 2nd National Symposium on Pediatric Development & Behavior

Symposium: 12-13  March 2019

Venue: KSAU-HS Convention Center

Workshops:  11 and 14 March 2019 - Pre & Post Symposium

Venue:  Deanship of Postgraduate Education

Introduction and Scope:

The 2nd National Developmental & Behavioral Pediatric Symposium aims to bring together the physicians, scientists, researchers, and teachers to exchange and share their experiences in all aspects of child development and learning.

Objectives:

  • To provide an interdisciplinary platform for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers,

  • To discuss the most recent innovations, trends, guidelines in developmental disorders

Target Audience:

  • Physicians (Developmental Pediatricians, child and adolescent psychiatrists, Family Medicine, General Pediatricians)

  • Teachers (Mainstream and special education, Preschool)

  • Psychologists (Clinical & educational)

  • Applied Medical Sciences (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Pathology Therapy, Audiologists)

  • Specialized Nurses

Symposium: Arabic

Workshops: 6 Workshops in Arabic & 3 in English

CME Hours: 

  • Symposium: 16 CME hours

  • Workshop: Accredited with CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (Refer to the attached poster.)
