Prof. Tariq Khashoggi, the founder chairman, heads the department. Since his appointment as Deputy Executive Regional Director, Medical Services, KAH, Al Ahsa, he appointed Dr. Shahid Latif, as Physician In-Charge of the department. When Dr. Shahid was appointed as Director, for Residency Training Programme, Prof. Tariq appointed Dr. Sadiqa Noorani as Acting Chairman.
Currently there are five (5) Consultants, two (2) Associate Consultant, two (2) Assistant Consultants, six (6) Staff Physicians and seven (9) Residents Trainees. Interns and medical students from universities around the kingdom as well as guest physicians from the region regularly participate in our educational and training programme. The staff comes from various nationalities and background forming a diverse and vibrant group. |
