Clinical Nutrition Services

The Clinical Nutrition Department is responsible for the provision of nutritional care to in-patients and out-patients through the integrated processes of assessment, planning, implementation, education, counseling and monitoring. In addition, the department is responsible for the supervision of patient food services, which are outsourced through an external service contractor and provide training to King Saud bin Abdulaziz University students. 

The Clinical Nutrition Department will become recognized and acknowledged as an integral part of the learning community by providing patients with quality food and service. To be widely recognized for education, research, and service which will enhance the nutritional status and food choices for both in-patient and out-patient. To promote nutritious eating habits in an environment that is indicative of today’s lifestyles, thus enhancing learning abilities as well as improved behaviors.
