Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services for women including high risk obstetrical care, fetal assessment, routine obstetric and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of routine gynecological disorders. It is the leading specialty, sharing a significant part of the workload in the Consulting Clinics/OPD and daily intake on floor. Round the clock floor coverage,  back up by on-call consultants, regular Ultrasound clinics, Perinatology Clinics, collaborative clinical integration with PHC are the areas the department is concentrating on. Apart from clinical service provision, regular CME sessions, departmental meetings, clinical and managerial auditing are all routine activities.
