| The aim of the Department of Surgery has been to provide high quality secondary and tertiary care to all surgical patients who are eligible for treatment in our hospital. We provid humane care and achieve maximal productivity and cost effectiveness. The department is to use its clinical and manpower resources to improve postgraduate training in our hospital and in the Western Region, encouraging research. Achieving this mission requires high calibre staff, efficient systems, stability, healthy work environment and best utilization of resources. |
