PMBAH Honors Participants in the Ninth Patient Safety Convention
Under the kind patronage of Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Executive Director of Operations and Prof. Tariq Khashoggi, Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services, and the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abdrabo, Manager of Quality & Patient Safety in addition to other department heads. Quality & Patient Safety Department at PMBAH, National Guard’s Health Affairs have honored the participant in the ninth annual convention for patient’s safety on Tuesday morning 25/06/2019 at the board room.
This recognition comes in support to the efforts to improve the quality of patient’s health and safety at the hospital. It is also meant to engorge all staff and teams to continuously participate in relative conventions and effective scientific research.
The event was launched with the speech of Dr. Mohammed Abdrabo, Manager of Quality & Patient Safety Department as he presented the objectives of the ninth annual convention for patient’s safety which was held last month in Jeddah. Afterwards, he previewed nine projects presented by the hospital’s staff regarding performance improvement in regards with quality and patient’s safety
Dr. Abdrabo also expressed his gratitude for all participating staff for their effective contribution whether they have participated in the presentation of posters or presented related projects to quality and patient’s safety at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital. This was PMBAH’s first tribute in the annual patient’s safety convention and it was highly acclaimed. Dr. Mohamed praised the distinguished participation of Ms. Khadija Al-Shankiti, quality specialist, who came in second place among the performance improvement projects presented at the conference.
The ceremony was concluded with the certificates awarding by Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Executive Director of Operations to all participating staff. Mr. Al Askar has also encouraged all participants to keep excelling at their achievements, reassuring his support for all that contributes to the excellence and improvement of the quality of healthcare and patient safety services provided by Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Hospital.
