The Libyan Conjoined Twins (Muhammad and Ahmed) arrived to Riyadh to determine the possibility of their separation at King Abdulaziz Medical City in the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs – Riyadh based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense.

Upon the twins arrival, they were admitted to King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital (KASCH) in King Abdulaziz Medical City – Riyadh, they were met by a surgical and multidisciplinary team who immediately conducted the clinical examinations and requested the basic lab tests.

Head of Pediatrics Surgery in King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital (KASCH), Dr. Mohammed Al Namshan pointed out that Muhammad and Ahmed are 4 months old and their condition, thankfully, is currently stable based on their vital signs and initial test results. 

Moreover, Dr. Al Namshan mentioned that the twins are conjoined at the abdomen and share the lower part of the digestive, urinary and reproductive systems, as well as the pelvic. The twins have one lower limb each with a third abnormal limb.
