Lunches the 11th Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Princess Noura Oncology Center in King Abdulaziz Medical City lunches the 11th Breast Cancer Awareness Month Activities in collaboration with the Saudi Oncology Association and the Health Education Department on Sunday 06/10/2019, the Activities started with an awareness educational exhibition in ACC with the participation of other concerned departments, the exhibition was lunched by Dr. Ashraf Al Sahafi - Deputy Executive Director Clinical Services- WR in the presence of Princess Noura Oncology’s Officers .
Dr. Motib Al Foheidi - Consultant Adult Medical Oncology, explained that awareness rising would be with the early detection of tumors through medical advice and guidelines that urge monthly breast examination, clinical examinations, and conduct mammograms yearly for women who reached 40 years to check the natural health of the breasts.
The Educational Awareness Month hosts a huge international conference ‘The 11th International Conference of Breast Cancer “on Thursday 17th of October in Intercontinental Hotel – Jeddah with the presence of 1500 participants form other health sectors, This conference aims at discussing and bring the latest developments in breast cancer diagnosis and treatments, It also opened channels for cooperation between Saudi doctors and leading doctors from abroad To treat cancer patients and strengthen relationships between cancer treatment providers.
Events during October include educational exhibitions in a number of commercial centers. Such as Alyasmin Mall on Friday the 11th of October 2019, Red Sea Mall on Friday 25th of October 2019, and Al Andlus Mall on the 31st of October 2019.
