World Diabetes Day
Family Medicine & Primary Healthcare Center in Al Madinah initiated the Diabetes Awareness Program by holding a virtual meeting through Zoom application with a number of patients. During the said meeting a number of doctors discussed the general concept of diabetes and its complications, methods of caring for diabetic’s teeth and feet as well as treatments used for the disease, in addition to the advisable nutritional habits especially while fasting. Afterwards, an educational video was displayed and the best diabetic patient was offered a prize.
