​Gynecology Oncology  

 

The Division of Gynecology Oncology is committed to providing a high quality care and support for patients who are at risk or have been diagnosed with cancer. In order to prevent the disease the division has an Educational Health Information program and a screening program to identify early signs and symptoms. The division is also involved in teaching medical students and in conducting clinical/laboratory research related to the pathogenesis and treatment of gynecology oncology diseases.

The Division’s medical staff comprises a Section Head, one Assistant Consultant, two Staff Physicians and one Fellow, currently on a two-year Scholar Fellowship in Calgary, Canada. GYN oncology has inpatient beds on the gynecology ward and runs two outpatient clinics per week.
