​Overview:

The Division of Genetics at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia consists of clinical geneticists who are certified physicians in multiple medical specialties - and genetic counselors. In addition to covering a wide range of patients’ cases some of which are inborn errors of metabolism, connective tissue dysplasia, developmental delay, birth defects, neurometabolic disorders, single gene disorders and syndromes, skeletal dysplasia, chromosome disorders, autism, and a number of hereditary disorders, our physicians conduct research studies across a broad range of the causes of many of these conditions.

Mission:

  • To provide optimum healthcare services to SANG personnel, their dependents and other eligible patients. 
  • To provide excellent academic opportunities, conduct research and participate in the industry and community service programs in the genetics field.

To develop a premiere, comprehensive genetic services to be recognized as an internationally acclaimed service of excellence to enhance the individuals and the public genetics’ health status.
