Committees and Meetings
Clinical Nutrition Services Committee:
The role of the committee encompasses to the development, implementation and review of the operations and procedures in the clinical area directly or indirectly affecting all hospital patient nutritional care e.g. Clinical practice guidelines related to Nutritional assessment, screening, disease management as well as policies and procedures.
Clinical Nutrition Education Committee:
Nutrition Education is one of the major sections of the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics responsible and focusing in developing materials to be used for nutrition information dissemination and to provide quality in-house educational training program to medical staff, patients, employees as well as food service staff.
Clinical Nutrition Training Committee:
The Clinical Nutrition Training Committee will be responsible for the Saudi Carrier Development Program (SCDP), Internship training and Summer Training in the Clinical Dietetic Department at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC)-Jeddah.
Food and Nutrition Services Committee:
The role of Food Service Committee is to discuss menu planning processes, eliminates difficulties, facilitates and oversees the implementation of menu planning processes. To give continuing education and training opportunities to kitchen staff to enable optimum quality patient care in a time efficient and productive manner.
Nutrition Supply Committee:
Nutrition supply committee has been formulated to control formula and supplement issue that as dietitians we depends on it for patient care, this committee it helps and works with important departments (logistic, food service, as well as the hospital wards)
