Gynecology Oncology Service
Medical Oncology. The service was initially under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology but later transferred to Oncology Center in January 2009.
This service is manned by only one Consultant and two Staff Physicians that manage two clinics and an OR session on weekly basis aside from the inpatient service.
All gynecology oncology protocols will be available in electronic format either in the Quadramed or the chemotherapy orders software, also a soft copy available with the service’s head for sharing upon request.
Gynecology oncology service follows the clinical practice guidelines of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) with its bi-annual site-specific cancer diagnosis and treatment guidelines which can be accessed Here.
