KASCH Rehabilitation Services

Patients with functional impairments or disabilities can benefit from Rehabilitation Services. It has specialized occupational therapy and physical therapy programs.
Occupational and physical therapy are combined to enhance and develop patients' functional abilities. It improves their independence and quality of life and makes it easy to live in their communities.
Orthotics and prosthetics, which shape, design, fabricate, and fit artificial limbs, braces, and appliances/equipment for individuals with physical disabilities. This aid patients in regaining function.

Mission of Rehabilitation Services

To provide specialized rehabilitation programs for patients with functional impairment/disability. Rehabilitation programs are designed to maximize patients’ functional capacity and level of independence. They promote their quality of life and help them adjust to the community.

Vision of Rehabilitation Services

All patients referred to the rehabilitation unit by qualified assistants or therapists will receive top-notch treatment. It ensures that the staff's clinical skills and knowledge are always improved. It organizes student training and internship programs.

Objectives of Rehabilitations Services

  1. Extend the sub-specialized rehabilitation programs.
  2. Complete and put in place a rehabilitation inventory program.
  3. Community education and active rehabilitation programs focusing on the most frequent health issues.
  4. Create a 5-year scholarship program that focuses on the most pressing specialty.
  5. Encourage the conduct of research and practices that are supported by the available evidence.



Rehabilitation Services Programs

Highly specialized Rehabilitation services for Inpatient and Outpatient that includes:






  1. Physical Therapy: Assesses the patient's limitation relative to his ability to integrate the neuro-musculo-skeletal body systems into functional movements
  2. Occupational Therapy: Assesses the functional status of an individual in the environment, in terms of three areas of occupational performance self-care, productivity and leisure.
  3. Orthotics/ Prosthetics Therapy: helps patients to restore function by molding, designing, fabricating and fitting artificial limbs, braces and appliances/equipment for patients with physical disabilities.
