The Cardiology section provides trainees (interns, residents,
and fellows) with information on the latest available knowledge on cardiac diseases and their management, and
provides them with maximum possible hands on the various investigative and diagnostics procedures available.
Moreover, the Cardiology section granted students from different
universities elective Cardiology training. Structured activates are being held weekly covering a wide range of
topics. The section is also fully involved in the ACLS, which is organized every two months.
In meeting the goals set out in the Mission Statement and
Objectives of the Cardiology Section, the achievements are:

To provide efficient, cost-effective and highest possible standard of medical care,
based on the current settings.

To provide CCU coverage 24 hours, 7 days a week.

To provide trainees (Interns, Residents, and Fellows) with information on the
latest available knowledge on cardiac diseases and their management.

To provide trainees maximum possible hands-on training on the various Investigative
and Diagnostic Procedures available.

To provide all necessary help to establish Cardiac catheterization /Surgery in
coming months.

To contribute to the implementation of the Cardiac Center Program.

Continue running the ACLS for National Guard Staff and Health Care providers in the
Western and Southern Region of the country.
